Yes, Homo Faber is a free access exhibition, however a ticket is required. You can register for your free ticket here www.civitavenezie.it. Please bring your invitation with you to gain entry.
There is no minimum age to attend, children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Homo Faber will take place on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, in the heart of the Venice lagoon, a five minute boat ride from the St Mark's Square
You can access the island under certains conditions and authorizations.
Le Stanze del Vetro is an exhibition in parallel, it can be accessed independently.
Yes, access is free. This event is not part of Homo Faber.
A free vaporetto shuttle will take you from San Marco-San Zaccaria Pier B to San Giorgio every 20 minutes. Also Vaporetto n°2 stops at San Giorgio. From Marco Polo Airport: Alilaguna Blue Line or Red Line to San Marco.

Wheelchairs and walking frames are allowed on the ground floor of the exhibition. The visit to the libraries on the first floor is possible by requesting access to an elevator (width: 74 cm - depth: 118 cm - maximum weight: 350Kg). Please enquire at info@homofaberevent.com.
Yes. However, parents should be careful manouvering the stroller in the exhibits.
Pets, even small ones, are not permitted. Exceptions are made for guide dogs for the blind, provided they have a leash and a muzzle, and pets certified as support for therapeutic treatments (pet therapy). To facilitate access, please communicate your arrival at least one day in advance to the email address visit.cini@duva.eu
Sketching is welcomed throughout most of the exhibition except in some spaces where a sign indicates the specific rules.
It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the external and internal areas of the Giorgio Cini Foundation.
Taking photos of artworks and spaces is permitted, but ONLY for personal purposes. The use of flash is always prohibited. The use of photographic tripod and/or professional equipment is forbidden. Any use of professional equipment must be authorised by the management. Use of extendable selfie sticks is prohibited.
Before entering the exhibition, visitors are required to deposit at the welcome area any items of baggage which, due to their dimensions and characteristics, are not considered suitable by staff, including suitcases, backpacks, packages and containers.
In order to ensure visitors' safety and protect the artworks, it is necessary to hand over knives, scissors and any type of metal tools to the ticket office.
No waste of any kind can be abandoned in the exhibtion. Rubbish bins are placed at the ticket office and the toilets.
